Harpfest New Zealand 2023 新西兰竖琴艺术节

On the 5th of February 2023, Zheng’s Music Studio was invited to perform at Harpfest New Zealand at the Dilworth Senior Campus Music Hall in Auckland. Boya Guzheng presented the audience with classic traditional and adapted pieces such as Harvest Drums, The Sound of Falling Snow, Battle Against the Typhoon, Fishing Boat at Dusk, Thunder in Drought, Sound of Sorrow, and A Laugh in the Sea, which received enthusiastic applause and high praise from the audience.

After the concert, teacher Lin Zheng gave a presentation on the history and basic structure of the guzheng in English, explaining and demonstrating guzheng playing techniques. It is worth mentioning that after the lecture, audience members of multiple ethnicities eagerly came onto the stage to gain hands-on experience with the guzheng and discuss it enthusiastically.

Lin said, “As guzheng musicians, we are incredibly happy to promote and spread traditional Chinese culture and music in New Zealand, allowing people from all over the world to enjoy and love the guzheng. Boya Guzheng will continue to work hard to bring more excellent works to everyone.”

2023年2月5日，筝乐工作室受新西兰竖琴艺术节邀请，在奥克兰的Dilworth Senior Campus音乐厅成功举办了古筝专场音乐会及交流会。博雅筝团为观众们带来了《丰收锣鼓》《雪落下的声音》《战台风》《渔舟唱晚》《旱天雷》《声声慢》《沧海一声笑》等经典的传统及改编作品，获得了在场观众们的热烈鼓掌和高度赞赏！

音乐会结束后，郑琳老师用英文向观众们介绍了古筝的历史和基本构造，并对古筝演奏技巧进行讲解和示范。值得一提的是，演讲结束后，来自不同种族的观众们争先恐后上台体验古筝，畅谈古筝。

这是一场集聆听，畅谈，体验为一体的古筝音乐会，为每一位参加艺术节的观众们带来一场难忘的古筝之旅！郑琳老师表示：“作为古筝人的我们，可以在新西兰弘扬和传播中国传统文化与音乐，让来自世界各地的人们喜欢古筝，热爱古筝，我们感到无比开心！博雅筝团将继续努力，为大家带来更多优秀的作品。”
