Lin Zheng is dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese music and culture. In 2016, she founded Zheng’s Music Studio, and in 2020, she established Boya Guzheng, a performance group. Her students have won platinum, gold, and silver awards in various international competitions. Lin has organised and performed numerous zheng pieces, including hosting eight annual concerts in Auckland. She has also performed at prestigious venues such as the New Zealand Parliament and other major events both locally and abroad.

Lin has played an active role in fostering traditional Chinese zheng music online as well. She created the "Songs of Chinese Guzheng" channel on platforms such as YouTube and Bilibili under the Zheng’s Music Studio accounts, where she has shared nearly 100 zheng performances to wide acclaim. In 2022, Lin was honoured with the “Global Outstanding Woman Award” for her contributions to music and culture.

Boya Guzheng

The Boya Guzheng was established in 2020, and is composed of teacher Lin Zheng and several outstanding students from Zheng’s Music Studio. Boya Guzheng will continue to develop team spirit, build a guzheng music performance group based on traditional music, aim for innovative musical expression, and bring "new" guzheng music to a wider audience.

博雅筝团

博雅筝团成立于2020年，成员由新西兰筝乐工作室郑琳老师和优秀学员们组成，首次亮相于“五洲同心、世界一家——爱乐之声”全球24小时云端音乐会。筝团致力于演奏工作室出品的原创筝乐，用心表达广“博”大爱，坚持传播筝乐”雅“趣。博雅筝团将不断开拓团队精神，打造一个以传统音乐为立足点，以创新的音乐表达为目标的筝乐演奏团队，将”新“筝乐带给更多的听众。
