CCTV's Global Cloud Concert 央视网全球云端音乐会演出

Gathering the power of music to light up the world with love! On the 20th of June 2020, during this extraordinary period when the world is jointly combating the COVID-19 pandemic, the large-scale public welfare event ‘United Hearts Across Five Continents – The Voice of Love’ Global 24-Hour Cloud Concert was launched. This event was guided by the China Cultural Promotion Society and the China Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Promotion Association, and co-hosted by CCTV.com, the Musical Instrument Industry Cooperation Body of the China Cultural Promotion Society, the China Music Association of Popular Music, the Art Integration and Innovation Committee of the China Cultural Promotion Society, and the Sino-American Cultural and Art Association. Musicians, performers, and singers from around the world participated, and the concert was globally broadcast, achieving great success. The concert was streamed live on numerous platforms, including CCTV.com, YouTube, Bilibili, American Chinese TV, and New Zealand Skykiwi.com.

The concert was divided into twelve segments, featuring over 600 artists from more than 50 countries across five continents, continuously delivering an extraordinary musical extravaganza for global audiences. Zheng’s Music Studio’s productions of Sound of Slow and Qin Sang Melody were also successfully broadcast during this cloud concert.

Of the two selected programs by Zheng’s Music Studio, the guzheng ensemble and vocal piece Sound of Slow was broadcast in the second segments, titled ‘Moments of Meeting.’ This piece was specially adapted by Ms. Lin Zheng for the concert and made its global debut with the 13-member Boya Guzheng Ensemble. The gentle and flowing melody of the piece transported listeners back to the warm and leisurely days of childhood. Thanks to the joint efforts of all teachers and students, the perfect performance of this piece received unanimous praise from all sectors. The professional playing skills and enthusiasm for traditional Chinese music demonstrated by the young overseas Chinese musicians were also appreciated and recognised.

The guzheng solo Qin Sang Melody"was broadcast in the twelfth segment, which was titled ‘One World,’ and was performed by Lin Zheng. The song’s subtle and lingering melody narrates the protagonist’s longing for reunion while being far from home. During this pandemic, countless frontline workers have distanced themselves from their families to meticulously care for those in need. Despite the daunting threat of the virus, their dedication and perseverance have built a protective wall of safety. Qin Sang Melody is a tribute to these selfless medical personnel.

This concert aimed to use music as a bridge of communication, sending the most sincere blessings and encouragement to people worldwide fighting the pandemic through the internet. Lin Zheng expressed her sentiments: "I feel very honoured! Thanks to the cloud concert platform, we can contribute our modest efforts to the global fight against the pandemic through guzheng performances. We hope to join musicians worldwide in gathering our strengths into a warm current, using music to warm hearts and support the fight against the pandemic!"

汇聚音乐力量, 让爱点亮世界！2020年6月20日，在世界各地共同抗击新冠疫情的非常时期，由中华文化促进会、中国华侨国际文化交流促进会指导, 央视网、中华文化促进会乐器产业协作体、中国音协流行音乐学会、中华文化促进会艺术融合与创新工作委员会、美中文化艺术联合会联合主办，与世界各地的音乐家、演奏家、歌唱家共同推出大型公益活动 ”五洲同心，世界一家 —— 爱乐之声“ 全球24小时云端音乐会，将于本周六全球联播。此次音乐会在央视网、YouTube、哗哩哗哩、美国中文电视台、新西兰天维网等众多网络平台直播，取得了圆满成功。音乐会分为十二个乐章，汇集了全球五大洲50多个国家600多名艺术家，各显所长，不间断地为全球观众演绎精彩绝伦的音乐盛会。由新西兰筝乐工作室出品的《声声慢》和《秦桑曲》也在这次云端音乐会中顺利播出。

新西兰筝乐工作室入选的两个节目中，古筝合奏与人声《声声慢》在第二乐章 “相约时刻” 中播出。这首作品是郑琳老师特意为此次音乐会改编的乐曲，作为全球首演，与13名学生组成 “博雅筝团” 正式亮相。乐曲以清流婉转的曲调将我们带回小时候温情而悠闲的岁月。在全体师生的共同努力下，这首乐曲的完美演绎获得了各界人士的一致好评。小华侨们专业的演奏技艺及对中国传统音乐文化的热情也得到了大家的赞许和认可。

古筝独奏《秦桑曲》在第十二乐章 “世界一家” 中播出，该曲由郑琳老师独奏。乐曲以委婉缠绵的旋律讲述着主人公背井离乡、盼望团聚之情。在这场战疫中，有着千千万万的逆行者远离亲人，无微不至地照料着需要帮助的人。疫情来势汹汹，你们的转身和坚守，铸造着天下平安的防护墙。一曲《秦桑曲》借此机会向无私的医护人员致敬！

这场音乐会旨在用音乐架起沟通的桥梁，通过网络为处在全球抗击疫情中的人们送去最真挚的祝福和鼓励。新西兰筝乐工作室的节目双双入选，创始人郑琳老师对此表示：“我感到十分荣幸！感谢云端音乐会这个平台，让我们可以通过筝乐演奏，为全球抗疫贡献我们的绵薄之力。愿与全球音乐家一同，将各自的力量汇聚成一股暖流，用音乐温暖人心，助力抗疫！”
