On the 27th of September 2020, Zheng’s music Studio was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the 17th New Zealand Chinese Cultural Festival and the ‘Homeland’ arts performance. As a classic project of the New Zealand-China Cultural Exchange Association, the Chinese Cultural Festival has been held on 16 occasions. This year's festival invited musicians from all over the world, including China, Japan, Canada, the United States, and Australia, to perform at the opening ceremony.

Lin Zheng, the founder of Zheng’s Music Studio, delivered a congratulatory message at the opening ceremony. Boya Guzheng, composed of her students, performed Blue and White Porcelain, which once again received an enthusiastic response. The beautiful and romantic charm of Blue and White Porcelain aims to let you appreciate the unique elegance of the Chinese ink-wash painting style.

For the first time, the performances of the 17th New Zealand Chinese Cultural Festival were broadcast online, aiming to inspire everyone to protect and support each other through the art of dance and to convey good wishes. This year, October 1st marks the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival. This performance also offered birthday blessings to our motherland and brought joy and happiness to the traditional festival.
