2nd US 'Heroes' International Music and Art Festival 第二届美国“英雄杯”国际音乐艺术节

On the 4th of October 2020, Zheng’s Music Studio was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2nd US 'Heroes' International Music and Art Festival. The performance brought together art groups and artists from countries such as China, the United States, New Zealand, Japan, and the United Kingdom, presenting a diverse musical feast for the audience.

The opening ceremony commenced with the Changying Orchestra’s orchestral piece Dance of the Yao People. Among the highlights were the large-scale dance Snowflakes Fluttering by the Liaoning Song and Dance Troupe, and the traditional Peking Opera The Palace of Eternal Life, performed by renowned Peking Opera artists and National Class One performers Kuizhi Yu and Shengsu Li, all of which received unanimous praise from the audience.

The guzheng ensemble piece Autumn Moon Over the Calm Lake, produced by Zheng’s Music Studio, was led by young guzheng artist Lin Zheng. Boya Guzheng, composed of outstanding students, once again performed Cantonese music, expressing the beautiful sentiment of ‘Wishing us long lives to share the beauty of the moon even from thousands of miles apart.’

2020年10月4日，新西兰筝乐工作室受邀参加第二届美国“英雄杯”国际音乐艺术节开幕式。演出汇集来自中国、美国、新西兰、日本、英国等国家的艺术团体和艺术家们，为观众们呈现了一场多元化的音乐盛典。

开幕式以中国长影乐团的管弦乐《瑶族舞曲》拉开帷幕。其中，辽宁歌舞团的大型舞蹈《雪花飘飘》，以及著名京剧表演艺术家，国家一级演员于魁智和李胜素表演的传统京剧《长生殿》等节目均获得观众们的一致好评。

筝乐工作室出品的古筝合奏《平湖秋月》，由青年古筝演奏家郑琳老师领奏，与优秀学员们共同组成的博雅筝团再度演绎广东音乐，抒发了 “但愿人长久，千里共婵娟” 的美好情怀。
