2023 Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day 新春花市同乐日演出

On the 21st of January 2023, the Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day successfully took place at the Auckland Showgrounds, co-hosted by the Auckland Chinese Community Centre Inc and the New Zealand Chinese TV Channel 33. Local Chinese art groups and individuals from Auckland came together to present the audience with a variety of performances, including drama, vocal music, dance, and folk music. In addition, traditional Chinese cultural elements such as painting, calligraphy, paper cutting, and kite making were on display. The event also featured food, lucky draws, traditional Chinese medicine, and more, creating a bustling and lively atmosphere.

As one of the largest Chinese New Year celebrations in New Zealand, the Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day has a history of over 30 years. Zheng’s Music Studio has been honoured to be invited to perform for many consecutive years, bringing the art of the Chinese guzheng to the vast number of Chinese compatriots in New Zealand. This year, members of Boya Guzheng presented a series of performances including the lively Harvest Drums, the serene Fishing Boat at Dusk, the cheerful Thunder in Drought, and the grand A Laugh in the Sea, which were well received and highly praised by the audience.

2023年1月21日（大年三十），由奥克兰屋仑华侨会所和新西兰中文电视台33频道共同主办的 “新春花市同乐日” 在奥克兰市 AUCKLAND SHOWGROUNDS 成功举办。来自奥克兰本地的侨界艺术团体及个人，一同为观众们带来了一场集戏剧、声乐、舞蹈、民乐等为一体表演。除此之外，中国画、书法、剪纸、风筝等传统民族文化元素汇聚一堂，食品、年货、幸运抽奖、中医等应有尽有，熙熙攘攘，川流不息。

    新春花市同乐日作为新西兰规模最大的迎新春活动之一，已有超过30年的历史。新西兰筝乐工作室连续多年受邀参加演出，为广大新西兰华人同胞们带来中国古筝的表演，深感荣幸！此次，博雅筝团的团员们以合奏的形式呈现了热闹非凡的《丰收锣鼓》，悠然自得的《渔舟唱晚》，热烈活泼的《旱天雷》，以及气势恢宏的《沧海一声笑》，受到观众们的喜爱和一致好评。
