Asian Cultural Festival 亚洲文化节演出

Recently, the annual Asian Culture Festival arrived as scheduled. This year marks the sixth year of the festival, featuring participation from Asian groups from China, Korea, and Japan, which were warmly received by everyone. On the 25th of August 2018, Zheng’s Music Studio was invited to perform at the Auckland Museum and Auckland Art Gallery as part of the festival.

In the two performances at this year's Asian Culture Festival, the studio arranged several pieces: the Chinese classic folk song Jasmine Flower, whose beautiful melody seems to transport people into a serene sea of pure white jasmine blossoms; the grand and spirited Horse Racing, which depicts a lively scene of Mongolian herdsmen celebrating a horse race; Blue and White Porcelain, which showcases the unique elegance of timeless porcelain; New Song of Dongting, which illustrates the stunning scenery of Dongting Lake and the fishermen's bountiful catches of fish and shrimp. In the classical piece Fishermen's Song at Dusk, listeners feel as if they are amidst the joy of fishermen returning with full loads under the evening sun reflecting on the vast, blue waves. Lastly, A Laugh in the Sea, exudes the carefree spirit of ancient Chinese heroes.

The historical atmosphere of the museum and the numerous exquisite artworks in the gallery allowed people to not only feel the history and appreciate the paintings but also to enjoy the enchanting and melodious sounds of the guzheng. Everyone present was immersed in the music, swaying gently to the rhythm.

The invitation for Zheng’s Music Studio to perform at this event enabled more people to experience the beauty of traditional Chinese music and the essence of Chinese culture. It is hoped that this melodious guzheng music will travel farther, allowing overseas Chinese to hear the sounds of their homeland and international friends to appreciate the music of China.

近日，一年一度的亚洲文化节如期而至。今年是文化节举办的第六年，来自中国，韩国和日本等亚洲团体参与了此次活动，深受大家的欢迎。筝乐工作室于2018年8月25日受邀在奥克兰博物馆与奥克兰美术馆进行演出。

在本次亚洲文化节的两场演出中，工作室安排的曲目有中国经典民歌《茉莉花》，优美的音律仿佛带领着人们进入了一片纯白静美的茉莉花海。气势磅礴，旋律奔放的《赛马》，呈现出一幅蒙古族牧民们热烈庆祝赛马的盛大场面。浓浓中国风的《青花瓷》，描绘出了传世瓷器的别样风采。具有浓重民歌特色的《洞庭新歌》，描写了美丽的洞庭湖水及渔民们鱼虾满舱的动人景象。在颇具古典风格的《渔舟唱晚》 一曲中，听众仿佛置身于夕阳映照万顷碧波，渔民满载而归的喜悦之境。透露着一股浓浓地中国侠士逍遥风的《沧海一声笑》。

那充满着历史气息的博物馆与拥有着无数精美画作的美术馆，能让人们在感受历史、欣赏画作的同时，也能聆听到阵阵动人悦耳的筝音。在场的人们无不陶醉在这筝音之中，身体也伴着音律随之轻摇。

本次筝乐工作室的受邀演出让更多的人感受到中国传统音乐之美和中华文化的气息。希望这悠悠筝音能飘得更远，让游子听见故乡的声音，让国际友人们欣赏到中华之乐。
