'Overseas Chinese Connecting Five Continents' Happy Spring Festival Cloud Gathering “侨连五洲”—— “云相聚·欢乐春节”活动
On the 25th of January 2022, as the Year of the Tiger was about to arrive, the ‘Overseas Chinese Connecting Five Continents' Happy Spring Festival Cloud Gathering event co-hosted by the Department of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese was successfully held. Leaders from both organisations attended the event, along with more than 500 compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas, sharing friendship, reminiscing about the past, and discussing their aspirations together.
The Spring Festival event was divided into two sessions: the first session featuring the Americas, Oceania, and Asia, while the second session featured Hong Kong, Macao, Europe, and Africa. In the first session, performances included the song Leopard of Ice and Snow, the dance Flying Ice Dance, and the poetry recitation Rainbow of the Olympics presented respectively by the Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the United Chinese Association of America, and the Canadian Association of Chinese Associations. Boya Guzheng, composed of outstanding students and led by Lin Zheng, presented the guzheng ensemble piece Spring Festival Overture.
Teacher Lin Zheng expressed her excitement, saying, "I am honoured to be invited to participate in this joyful Spring Festival event! The familiar Spring Festival Overture has accompanied us through warm and joyful Spring Festivals year after year. I wish all overseas Chinese friends a prosperous Year of the Tiger! Stay healthy! I also wish the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games a complete success!"
2022年1月25日，在壬寅虎年即将到来之际，中国侨联联谊联络部与北京市侨联共同主办的 “侨连五洲” —— “云相聚·欢乐春节” 活动取得圆满成功！中国侨联联谊联络部和北京市侨联领导出席了此次活动，同港澳和海外的500余位侨胞们一起共述友谊，共叙相思，共话愿景。
此次春节活动共分为两场：第一场为美洲、大洋洲、亚洲专场，第二场为港澳地区、欧洲、非洲专场。在第一场活动中，来自北京市侨联，全美华人侨团联合会和加拿大华人同乡总会分别带来了歌曲《冰雪之豹》、舞蹈《冰舞飞扬》和诗朗诵《奥林匹克的彩虹》；值得一提的是，由青年古筝演奏家郑琳老师领奏，与优秀学员们组成的博雅筝团，也为大家带来了古筝合奏《春节序曲》。
郑琳老师激动地说：“很荣幸受邀参加此次的欢乐春节活动！耳熟能详的《春节序曲》陪伴着我们度过了一个又一个温馨而又快乐的春节，祝愿全球华侨华人朋友们虎年大吉！身体健康！祝愿北京2022年冬残奥会圆满成功！”
