2021 Westlake Chinese Night 西湖中国夜

On the 2nd of July 2021, Zheng’s Music Studio had the honour of being invited to participate in the Westlake Chinese Night. This event is one of Westlake High School's flagship events, and this year coincided with its tenth anniversary celebration. The evening was a showcase of traditional and modern Chinese performances brought to the audience by the teachers and students of the two Westlake schools, highlighting the beauty of Chinese culture and art.

During the evening, Zheng’s Music Studio presented the guzheng ensemble and vocal performance piece Sheng Sheng Man, led by teacher Lin Zheng and performed by Boya Guzheng. The performance received enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience. This was the first offline show since the pandemic, and as young musicians dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture and music, we were very excited to once again step into the school and experience the beauty of traditional art in person.

2021 年7月2日，新西兰筝乐工作室有幸受邀参加 Westlake Chinese Night ——西湖中国夜。该活动是西湖中学品牌活动之一，今年恰逢是十周年大庆。本次晚会由西湖两所中学的师生们为观众们带来了一场集传统和现代的中国表演，为大家展现最美中国的文化和艺术。

在本场晚会中，筝乐工作室带来了精品之作——古筝合奏与人声《声声慢》，由郑琳老师率领博雅筝团共同演绎，获得了在场观众的热烈鼓掌和欢呼。这是自疫情以来的线下首秀，作为传播中国传统文化与音乐的小演奏家们而言，非常兴奋可以再一次走进校园，近距离感受传统艺术之美。
