Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day 2021新春花市同乐日演出

On the 30th of January 2021, the Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day was held at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland. The event was attended by New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Chinese Consul General in Auckland, Ruan Ping, among other distinguished guests. The event is one of New Zealand’s largest celebrations for welcoming the Chinese New Year, with a history spanning over 30 years. Zheng’s Music Studio was honoured to be invited to participate in the opening ceremony, bringing a splendid performance of Chinese guzheng music to the vast Chinese community in New Zealand.

During this performance, Zheng’s Music Studio specially selected four pieces of varying styles to spread traditional Chinese music and lead the audience in celebrating the joyous Spring Festival. The traditional guzheng piece Fisherman's Song at Eventide, the classic folk song Jasmine Flower, the popular song Blue and White Porcelain, and the TikTok hit Listen to Me Say Thank You were performed in succession, conveying feelings of beauty and happiness, and adding a strong festive atmosphere to the event.

As the Year of the Rat is about to end, we sincerely thank all our new and old friends and fans for their attention and support whilst accompanying Zheng’s Music Studio in its growth. 2021 年1月30日，新春花市同乐日活动在奥克兰市 ASB Showgrounds 隆重举行。新西兰总理 Jacinda Arden 以及中国驻奥克兰阮平总领事等嘉宾出席了本次活动。新春花市同乐日是新西兰规模最大的迎新春活动之一，已有超过30年的历史。新西兰筝乐工作室有幸受邀参加了本次开幕式，为广大新西兰华人同胞带来中国古筝的精彩表演。

在本次演出中，筝乐工作室特意选择了四首风格各异的曲目来传播中国的传统音乐，带领观众们一同庆贺喜庆的春节。传统筝曲《渔舟唱晚》、经典民歌《茉莉花》，以及流行歌曲《青花瓷》和抖音神曲《听我说谢谢你》轮番演奏，诉说着美好、幸福的喜悦之情，为同乐日活动现场增添了一份浓浓的年味。
