Lingyao Qu won the Fifth Shengshi Huazheng Silver Award 曲凌瑶荣获第五届盛世华筝银奖

Warm congratulations to Lingyao Qu on winning the silver award in the youth division of the 2022 ‘Fifth Shengshi Huazheng and Guzheng Music Festival’!

Lingyao is 16 years old and began learning the guzheng with teacher Lin Zheng in 2017. In 2022, she obtained the tenth grade Guzheng Performance Certificate issued by the Chinese Nationalities Orchestra Society with excellent results. During her studies, she has actively participated in various performances and exchanges around Auckland.

Lingyao has also participated in many events held by her school. In 2017, she performed solo as the opening of the school's drama "Mulan". From 2018 to 2021, she performed in the school’s anniversary, concerts, award ceremonies and cultural events, gaining high praise from the principal.

曲凌瑶，今年16岁。于2017年开始师从郑琳老师学习古筝。在历届考级中，均以全优的成绩获得中国民族管弦乐学会颁发的古筝演奏证书。2022年，她以优秀的成绩获得古筝演奏十级证书。在学习期间，她积极参加各项演出和交流活动，足迹遍及奥克兰的各个地方：Elizabeth Knox 养老院，Glen Eden Library, Pakuranga Library, Botany Library, Highland Park Library, 奥克兰博物馆和奥克兰美术馆。她曾参演庆祝中国的农历新年，第十九届中国元宵灯节闭幕仪式演出，亚洲文化节，新西兰音乐月，竖琴艺术节等活动，以及工作室主办的“华乐筝鸣”年度音乐会，获得各界人士的一致好评。

曲凌瑶受邀参加在读学校举办的音乐会和各项演出。2017年，她曾独奏《紫竹调》为学校的话剧表演《花木兰》开场；2018年，曾参加学校举办的音乐会，独奏《渔舟唱晚》；2019年，她参加学校举办的音乐会，独奏《山丹丹开花红艳艳》和《丰收锣鼓》；2020年，参加学校举办的音乐会，独奏《战台风》和《彝族舞曲》，获得学校校长的肯定，并被写上了学校日报。颁奖典礼上，她演奏的《春江花月夜》再次被校长提名并写上了日报上。2021年，她在学校纪念日上独奏《雪山春晓》深受老师和同学们的好评。同年6月，她在学校的文化之夜活动中独奏《茉莉芬芳》同样得到了大家的认可。
